Nursing & Triage
Nurses and nursing students are essential to the smooth functioning of each clinic. Triaging patients at the door is crucial to our work and allows us to track population data, assess patients, and provide acute care if needed. With the help of ATVs, nursing is responsible for intake and triage of the hundreds of people who pass through the clinic doors each day. Their efforts are welcome in the individual clinics as well, based on interest and experience.
We have worked with nursing students from schools in New York and Pennsylvania with great success. We also have had advanced practice clinicain students and medical students participate as well. Students may rotate among the clinics to complete their academic clinical requirements.
